Norwood Bomber Slot Car Racing Series

Norwood Arena, in Massachusetts, ran events from 1948 to 1972.  This 1/4 mile track was very fast, and enjoys a loyal following of racers and race historinas today.  Pete Hamilton had three wins in 1970 for Petty Enterprises in the #40 Superbird. He won the 1970 Daytona 500 and both races at Talladega Superspeedway. He won his fourth race of the season at the July Daytona race in Cotton Owens' car.   He got his start in 1962 in the street stock division at Norwood Arena.

These cars are 1/32 true scale.  Chassis can be scratchbuilt or sourced from Scalextric, SCX, Carrera, or Artin.  These cars run on scale skinny tires and are American cars from 1962 - 1985.
